On October 15th, on the opening day of the "Czech Autumn" event series starting at the University of Sopron, we invite everyone who loves good music, dancing, and Czech beer to a cosy Czech evening.
From 7:00 PM (19:00), a Polka Party begins at Ligneum, where Czech and Hungarian hunting horn players, brass musicians, dance groups, and traditional Czech polkas will swirl together for one evening.
Performers include the hunting horn players of the Mendel University in Brno and the University of Sopron, members of the Testvériség Dance Ensemble and the Ürmös Dance Group, and the Brass Brothers will take care of the good polkas to go with the beer.
Several kinds of Czech beer will be available for tasting during the program, so on Wednesday evening, we can truly feel the Czech culture close to us.
Admission is free, beer selection while stocks last!
